Join us for the Canadian National Beagle Specialty

We are pleased to announce the location of the 2025 Beagle Club of Canada National Specialty held in conjunction with the Northern Alberta Canine Association in Edmonton, Alberta! Enjoy the beautiful scenery the West Coast provides while having a great opportunity to show at multiple conformation and performance events!

Beagle Club of Western Canada Regional Specialty
In addition to the 2025 National, the BCWC is hosting their very own Regional Specialty and we are thrilled to have our National the day following the Regional. The Regional Specialty will take place May 31st under an exciting breeder judge. Learn more about the BWCW Regional Specialty Here

Four All Breed Shows
In conjunction with the National Specialty, there is also four all breed shows giving exhibitors great opportunities for points and majors at all 3 club's shows.

Performance Events
Along with the ample opportunities to show in conformation, NACA additionally offers 3 Obedience Trials  and 3 Rally Obedience Trials at this event as well.

If there's anything Beagle People are known for, it's celebrating our breed as a community. We invite exhibitors near and far travelling for this event to celebrate our breed with us after our National for our first BCC Pot Luck Dinner! With new laws regarding bringing dogs back and forth across the border can seem daunting, or acquiring an ERN/TCN # to show in Canada seems like work, have no fear, we have a great team of individuals to help you with this process and make it easy and seamless.

What is a Canadian Kennel Club TCN number?

A TCN (Temporary Competition Number) allows a dog that is eligible for CKC registration and/or an Event Registration Number (ERN) to temporarily participate in CKC events while they pursue permanent registration or an Event Registration Number (ERN).

A TCN number is free to obtain, and is usually immediately available via the CKC portal.

Using this registration number does attract a $10 TCN fee per entered show, trial or test, plus applicable sales taxes. If you happen to obtain and provide your CKC registration number to the event secretary before entry closing, you will be refunded this TCN fee.
